Messing around with some new image editing software, I took a batch of photographs in the garden with which to experiment.  Having had the full Adobe suite many years ago, I opted out when they started demanding subscription for each component, so I finally found myself with just Photoshop Elements, which just about does the job for simple photo editing, but this week have been playing around with Canva Affinity’s all-in-one vector and pixel toolkit, which is free of charge for a staggering range of functionality that makes Photoshop Elements (charged for, and not cheap) look like a poor relation.  The online YouTube support for Affinity is exceptional too. These are just snapshots, but I have been incorporating them into some complex works and really enjoying the process, which is not always the case with new software!  A dull day today, but earlier in the week it was lovely.
